Benefits of Compression Socks for Cross Country Skiing and Hiking
It may seem to many that wearing tight-fitting socks or clothing during the cold weather is counterintuitive. That’s because most people believe that tight garments will restrict blood circulation and would cause one to become colder. Most ski socks are bulky wool items or a combination of wool and synthetic fibers and are often quite expensive. They have a tendency to get wrinkled and/or bunch up.
Graduated compression socks (and other compression garments) actually improve blood flow due to their graduated nature. It forces blood up to the heart to increase oxygenation. Because of this increased circulation, your body will actually generate more heat; thus, compression socks can keep your feet warmer during a day of cross country skiing or other winter sports. Other benefits provided by compression socks and calf sleeves include: Calf muscle support for better/proper alignment, increase stamina and exhaustion and soreness can be delayed
There are other benefits provided by compression socks for Alpine skiing including keeping your muscles loose and warm to provide fast reaction times on the slopes. Additionally, these socks can also prevent blisters and sore spots on the feet, shin, and ankles.

Offers warmth and support to muscles when running, even in really cold conditions. Material is really thin so easy to wear even wtih tighter running or cyckling shoes.

I am not sure if the pressure/Compression is good enough. My size is tricky, my calf is 40-41 cm but my foot size is 40-42, so socks don’t fit perfectly. I need socks for panel, could you recommend sock model and size.

Ostin kokeeksi 2 paria ja yllätykseksi molemmat sukat nukkaantuivat erikoisesti heti ensimmäisellä käyttökerralla. En tiedä oliko maanantaikappaleita vai onko jotain ongelmaa tämän sukkamallin materiaaleissa. Palautukseen menevät ja tutumpia malleja tilalle..
