WHY COMPRESSION
The excess load on the venous valves that carry blood from extremities to the heart can cause inflammation during and after exercise. Arms and legs will feel heavy and sluggish. Compression products boost circulation by improving venous valve function. Tired muscles receive more oxygen, which speeds recovery. The mechanical pressure created on the deep lymphatic system aids in the removal of metabolic waste.
ZEROPOINT HIGH-PERFORMANCE COMPRESSION
The first compression products were relatively simple, with the same compression throughout the entire garment. At Zeropoint we take our compression seriously. We use a sophisticated, high performance, graduated compression in all our socks and sleeves. Our specific weave creates the strongest compression around the ankle or wrist which gradually decreases towards the top of the shin or arm to efficiently transport the blood back to your heart and speed up lactic acid removal. The elasticity and compression levels are always designed for a specific use. It is important that you carefully measure your calf and ankle or arms to make sure you have the correct size to get the most from your compression experience.
PRECISION FIT
ZeroPoint only produces compression and as a result, uses a very sophisticated approach that applies the right amount of compression to specific muscles depending on where it contacts your body and what type of athlete you are. We conduct extensive research with universities, athletes and sports labs to determine the precise amounts used, where it’s applied and how it affects muscle output and recovery. We offer very specific dimensions for sizing that require measurement of different parts of the body so that you get a precision fit for optimum performance.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT COMPRESSION SIZE
In order to know your size in Zeropoint Compression socks you need to measure around the widest part of your calf muscle and around the narrowest part of your ankle (about half an inch above the ankle bone).
In order to know your size in Zeropoint Compression Shirts you need to measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the measuring tape horizontal.
